サーファーのヨギ、ヨギニの皆様、お待たせしました！！　　イアン・フィンの来日です。正真正銘のサーファー・ヨギで、ルルレモン第一号アンバサダーです。バンクーバーでは大人気の先生で、常にクラスは満員。冗談まじりのクラスはあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまう、とか。一度お試し下さい。3月来日です。

イアン・フィン経歴

カナダで最も愛されているヨガ指導者の一人。至福学者 “Blissologist”、サーファー、著者の顔も持つ。１９８７年にヨガ、東洋および西洋哲学、格闘技、瞑想を勉強し、１９９０年代半ば、ハワイのマウイに住んでいる期間に、ヴィンヤサ（フロウもしくはパワー）・スタイル・ヨガに傾倒していく。

運動競技とヨガを愛する気持ちからクロス・トレーニング（注：複数のスポーツを組み合わせたトレーニング方法）の重要な要素として二つを合わせ、米国、カナダにおいてNHLのホッケー・プレイヤーからオリンピックのスキー選手に至るまでのハイ・レベルのスポーツ選手のための、成績向上を目指した個人用ヨガ・プログラムを作成。多数のYES（Yoga,Ecology,Surf）・リトリートを世界各地で行い、自然に対する深い敬意と愛、ヨガを生徒たちと分かち合っている。

指導スタイルはユーモアに溢れ、力強く、アライメントと解剖学を重視、基盤とするもので、胸を開き、活気にあふれ、かつ実験的な練習法である。

これまでにインスピレーションを与えてくれた多数の指導者たち、Maui YogaのNadia Toraman、Vijnana YogisのGioia Irwin、Orit Sen-Gupta、ストラクュラル・インテグレーション・セラピスト（注：身体の姿勢機能をより良いバランスへと再構成する療法士）のMark Finch、Tom Myers、心理療法士のSusan Aposhyanに感謝をしてやまない。
現在カナダ、ブリティッシュ・コロンビア州のサーフィンのメッカ、ユキュレットとバンク−ヴァーを行ったりきたりして暮らしている。

Eoin Finn BIO
One of Canada’s best-loved yoga teachers, Eoin Finn is also a Blissologist (one who studies Bliss), surfer and writer. He first studied Yoga, Eastern and Western philosophy, martial arts and meditation in 1987 and developed an affinity for Vinyasa (flowing or power) style yoga while living in Maui, Hawaii in the mid-1990’s.
Fusing his passion for athletics and yoga as an essential cross-training element, Eoin has worked with high-level athletes ranging from NHL hockey players to Olympic skiers in the US and Canada, for whom he has created customized, performance enhancing yoga programs. He has also conducted numerous YES (Yoga, Ecology and Surf) Retreats around the world, sharing his deep respect and love for nature and yoga with his students.

Eoin’s teaching offers a heart-opening, invigorating and experiential practice that is grounded with humor, dynamism and a focus on alignment and anatomy.

He thanks many teachers who have inspired him along the way including Nadia Toraman of Maui Yoga, Vijnana Yogis: Gioia Irwin and Orit Sen-Gupta; Structural Integration Therapists Mark Finch and Tom Myers; and Body Mind Psychotherapist Susan Aposhyan.__He now resides between Vancouver and Canada's surf mecca, Ucluelet, BC.
